What on God's green earth makes JD a Bourbon ...you barbarian. If it does not say it on the label it's not Bourbon. JD is something some Tennessee hick got from the bottom of a silo, how dare yee compare Tennessee Jack Daniels to good old Kentucky Straight Bourbon. I say pistols at ten paces.

Jack Daniels is a Tennessee Whiskey. Much different and more refined than the swills that come out of the horse barns up in Kentucky.
And we prefer redneck instead of hick. A hick, by Definition:

It is a play on words. A normal Jack in the Box (a child's toy) would be standing tall on his spring, while the Jack Daniels in a box is too drunk to stand at all.
