mTk in hospital

Just got this message from mTk's (Terry's) wife via Scott (Baron v. Beergut) over at Blitz:

Hi guys, This is to let you know mtk is in the hospital and will be there for several weeks. He had surgery yesterday for a major, major infection with diabetes complications and a second surgery today. At the moment it looks like the infection has been halted, but we've been told the recovery will be very long. So we're certainly not out of the woods yet, but he's stable now and there's a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. Just wanted to let you know why he hasn't been on the board for several days and won't be for a while. Also, I have a favor to ask. If any of you have contacts with A Few Good Men ( I think that's the main communication channel for Combat Mission, but I'm not absolutely sure), would you please let them know about this. There may be turns waiting or something like that and I don't have any way to know. Thanks for your help and I'll try to get back here to let you know his status if there are any major changes.

I have been speaking to Nancy and she feels that Terry's situation today is much improved over Thursday. While it is true that Terry will be in the hospital for some time, there is cause to be optimistic.

Damn it mTk who am I going to argue with, get well soon... I am always amazed at a persons feeling for another even if they have never met face to face but only on this site. May be I am just a big softy but it puts a pit in my stomach...my prayers are with you. May be Nort can get you some Woodford Reserve Bourbon that should take the edge of of things. Donation sent.
