As of Tuesday, North America is covered by the third-highest amount of snow this late in the season since records began in 1966, according to NOAA's U.S. National Ice Center.

For the record this is the most I have seen in years, It is just about all still on the ground, very little has melted. Now This is two problems to me...1] I will have the shortest growing season yet....it's bad enough with only 5 months possible. If the snow goes away slowly, I may not see grass until May or June.
2] If the snow melts fast I will be trying to figure out how to get my 16 foot canoe into my basement.
