I played this one as Axis against @jackal263 and this one really was a blast. The map is quite large and the Axis player has to attack with a good mix of Fallschirmjäger and Tanks over open ground with not much cover and/or concealment. Both sides get reinforcements along the way, turning the tide multiple times throughout the scenario. Although the map is mostly open (but not billardtable flat) Line of sights can be quite tricky due to small rises over large portions of the map. Both sides have lots of artillery available. So prepare yourself for high amount of casualties on both sides.
The battle itself was like a rollercoaster. The one minute I was sure I could win this, the next turn I was sure I will loose this. This went on for the 1:30 hours of the battle. Quite a ride until the very last minute. Not just literally the last turn finally secured me the win. Barely. So I think the force mix works out quite well and gives both sides a fair chance of winning.
Again a big thank you to @jackal263 as he really put up a nasty defense, never gave up and gave me hell throughout the scenario.
I definitely recommend this scenario.
