I think it might be from Ukraine too. At least I looked up one of the town signs and it seemed to be in Ukraine.

It looks like they have fun horseback riding, cooking, and going to countryside dances.

But notice how the video ends after 1942 (?) Assuming it starts in 1941 and there's one winter shown.

I wonder what happened to that guy and his comrades.

Would also make sense. I was wondering about the orthodox churches. Figured it might be Serbia, never been there (have been in all other former yugoslavian states).
