Target Arc Command and AA guns

Does anyone know if target arc commands work for AA guns in their anti-aircraft role ?
I am wondering how is it possible to split air space into smaller areas and dedicate one single AA gun to each of those air zones (thus saving some ammo and missiles)

Dont quote me Denis, but i vaguely recall a BF forum AA disussion (not sure if ww2 or modern) that indicated target arcs of any kind had zero affect of AA targetting/control.
