I have to make a website. I use wordpress for the site and forenking for the forums. Both are free items. So maybe some functions aren´t available.
Concerning wordpree:
1.) How I can do the site in a dual language style - for example set a button to change between german and english?
2.) At wordpress You have widgets what can be shown on Your website. So as contact info with a google map, a following button, calendar etc. Sadly I have to set two of the contact info boxes. But only one of them shows the map even though I set both to show the different map areas. Is that because of the freeware status or is it a common/known thing/problem for other sites too?
3.) And is there a way to set two widget menues? So one could set them on both sides of the text area? Or depends that on the style or whatever?
Concerning forenking:
1.) How can I do it that posts/threads of a forum don´t change positions always if a new thread/or post is posted? There must be a function but also in the free version?
2.) How can I link my website with the forum(s)? So that if You click on a button at the website You autoatically will lead to the wanted forum. Or is that made in a totally other way?
That would be my current questions. I think I´ll have further ones in the future. All kind of advice for creating own websites and forums are welcome.
