As most of you probably know my pc game of choice is the turn-based RPG genre. If it plays like X-COM I'll likely be all over it.
What usually doesn't interest me is RPG games that try to be funny, have cartoon graphics and characters that are one dimensional.
Of course, that is exactly what DoN is. And it is the reason why this game is so much fun. The writing and voice dialogue can be hilarious
at times. The graphics are colorful and crisp and serve the game quite well. The characters are over the top stereotypical and are easily ID'd
as to their capabilities.
While the game is light-hearted the combat is no laughing matter as the AI will punish you if you get careless...or even if you don't.
All in all I'm really enjoying this trip around the multi-floored dungeon. If you like the genre you can buy this on Steam for $34.99.
