Me and the missus started watching this last night... a 4-parter about the serial killer Richard Ramirez and his crime spree from 1984 to 1985 in LA and San Fran.

Its gripping but also pretty graphic.

It's a very well done documentary
I was in Southern California at the time and I remember the relief when it was announced he had been captured and the media circus that was his trial

Netflix has taken some flak for the show being, uh, a bit too accurate in its depiction of events.

We watched it this past week, I thought it was very well done. A bit graphic, but not overly so IMO. The last episode with the cop that was dealing with Ramirez’s buddy in the car was funny as hell.

I had heard a few criticisms that it was a little bit too graphic but I didnt think so IMHO

Oh it was graphic... compared to the Ripper it was like 5 times more graphic. I was gripped though... I mean it was humorous at times, horrifying in others, sad in others... a real mixbag of emotions. I loved that it was everyday folk that caught him and beat the shit out of him.
