Part of the benefits for subscribing to my newspaper is I can subscribe to something called Daily Chatter.
https://www.dailychatter.com/

It talks of various world events telling news and maps of the locations of countries.
For example today has stories on voters in Uzbekistan head to the polls to elect a new president another was Barbados elected its first-ever president this week as the Caribbean nation prepares to remove British Queen Elizabeth as its head of state and become a republic and more.

Anyway today was the weekly quiz.

WEEKLY WORLD QUIZ

Which mythical creature is Scotland’s national animal?

A) Dragon
B) Unicorn
C) The Loch Ness Monster
D) Werewolf

Nope.
And I assumed the Loch Ness Monster. To obvious an answer though.

From the National Trust of Scotland: “With its white horse-like body and single spiraling horn, the unicorn is a symbol of purity, innocence and power in Celtic mythology. Legend also tells that their horns can purify poisoned water, such is the strength of their healing power.

These proud, untameable creatures are fiercely independent and famously difficult to capture or conquer, which will sound familiar to anyone who has read their Scottish history. Even though unicorns are mythological, Scots have always felt drawn to what they represent.”
