I thought the answer (which I got wrong) was pretty cool so I thought I'd post the quiz.

What is Point Nemo?

1-The farthest point in the ocean from any land.

2-The deepest point in the Western Pacific Ocean’s Mariana Trench.

4-The military’s code name for a checkpoint on the border between North and South Korea.

The answer is A - The farthest point in the ocean from any land.

Named for the captain in Jules Verne’s ‘Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea”, Point Nemo is the most remote location on Earth - 1,670 miles from any land in the Pacific Ocean.
Thanks to its remote location it is also known as, “The Spacecraft Cemetery” since it is the safest place on Earth to have obsolete satellites and other spacecraft crash land.

I guessed it because I think Nemo means 'nobody ' in Latin so I thought it logical. There's no one there

I got it correct because at some point along the way I heard about this and the fact just stuck.

Interesting but I think there is a problem. Either that's not the spot or the graphic is wrong...
Since, according to the graphic it is 1666 miles south of Ducie Island and 1674 north of the Antarctic coast then you can move four miles due south and be 1670 from Ducie and 1670 from Antarctica. ???
