Great fun, and a good atmospheric feel, not bad for a infantry-only urban scenario.
This is a great scenario. Lots of tension and consequences for rash decisions. Nice.
Awesome. I liked it even more than the Interlock mission by the same person (SeinfeldRules). It is really reminiscent of Stalingrad. Really tough city fighting with lots of cover and never knowing from where to expect an ambush. It really tests your tactical skills. Positioning is king here.
I really enjoy this scenario. Important to lay a lot of smoke before the assault. The rain tends to dissipate the smoke fast so must move quickly. My only concern with the scenario design was the combination of placing certain rubble next to partially intact buildings. That made for some graphic distortions on what terrain I thought I could easily enter easily and not to enter. Also had some line-of-sight issues with difficulty visualizing where my troops were vis a vis the Russians as far as firing angles. Some of the sharp angles around buildings were built on terrain elevation changes with piles of rubble which got me a bit disoriented at times when I zoom in closely. That may be more on me not knowing how to set up the camera angles properly during my replays or how to clear the clutter when setting up my battle plans (use ALT-T).
