
D-Day June 6, 1944 The 6th Green Howards of the British 50th Infantry Division have landed at Gold/King beach and pushed inland as far as Crepon. They are now assembling for a push to capture the crossroads in Villiers le Sec so the regiment can keep moving to it’s D-Day objective further south.
