I'm playing Rico in a CMFI game, and he is crushing me. But, this tanker of mine has balls of steel ...
You've heard bringing a knife to a gun fight. Pistol to a tank fight.
That Marder lived a charmed life - he survived two hits from a Sherman .
Then crew bailed when hit by Halftrack MG's - rallied the crew, remounted the Marder and now looks like most of the crew were wounded by either bazooka or grenades. Lone driver is frantically reversing out of danger ... gotta love this game [emoji4]
PS: also helps that this model Marder doesn't have an MG.

Bill and I are playing a CMBN game. There have been many great moments so far. But sometimes its the little things.
Here is one of my Tommies lobbing a hand grenade at a loaded HT.
Projectile heading toward target ...
And swish!
Next turn, we'll see if I can pick up the 7 - 10 spare.

There's just one better ... dropping a mortar round into the fighting compartment of an SP gun like a Wespe or Priest and see it go up -- a very rare but oh so satisfying sight :cheers:
My game against Bill continues. There is just something about bagging an HT loaded to the gills with guys. Never gets old.
