Regional update

With Gabu falling to PRS forces the Guinea-Bissau government is moving more military strength into the area east of Rio Baboque in an effort to reconcile their position. President Vaz continues to decry that the PRS are little more than a minor force of militants trying to provoke political unrest so as to lay ground for a coup. Currently the world in general has little interest or time in what is happening in the country, with minor media coverage of the situation in the west.

Situational update

The surviving remnants of Tombali platoon and Osprey have been rounded up and held at Gabu whilst they were questioned. Treatment was rough, with one corporal of Alpha squad publically executed as a deterrent to the civilians of Gabu and in attempt to get the rest of the survivors to talk. It seems the commander of the forces at Gabu has been ordered to move the captives further south, deeper into PRS territory.

This Sunday was kind of a fluke for us US players time wise since the Brits went off their summer time (daylight savings for us) before we did. Since we move our clocks back next weekend, it will be at the regular time then. Usual time is 1330 GMT (0830 EST for you). Our missions have typically been running around two hours. It'd be great for you to join us!
