Once again we’re in Vietnam.
The last scenario was 28th December 1967, Khe Sanh. S.O.G. MACV identified and eliminated several radio relays along the NVA supply route 9, just south of the DMZ. It was a swift and professionally executed Op, with the team successfully withdrawing to FOB Rockpile before returning to HQ.
This morning, 6th Jan 1968, S.O.G. COM has been advised by US Army based out of A Luoi of reports of a high ranking PAVN officer in the area. This is mostly VC territory, so Command want to know why he’s here.
After flying into FOB2 Kon Tum we’ve commandeered a couple of jeeps to get to the area. We are to snatch, or eliminate, the target.
