This I did not know...
The Luftwaffe used about 50 North American NAA-57 and NAA-64 Harvards for training, liason and glider towing duties. These had been delivered to the French Air Force prior to WW2.
this NAA-64 was photographed at Guyancourt, France in early 1944.
