Yeah its been discussed previously and here was my response at the time.

I watched this documentary this morning.

Im sitting here at present feeling pretty drained now.

Some amazing camera work. Like has been said before some of the guys are so young.

50 US soldiers died in that area and they have since pulled out... such a loss for such a shit hole of a country. Americans laying down their lives for locals that dont want them there... it just doesnt make sense.

It was quite emotional when Rougle got killed during Operation Rock Avalanche. It is certainly an eye opener for what really goes down there.

Avg age in WW2=26, Vietnam=19, Iraq/Afghan=30

I was 18 when I got to Vietnam in Jan of 1969
