If you were looking for any of Slitherine/Matrix games, they are on sale this week. By the looks of the discounts, they are selling well on Steam. Not bad for wargames.
A rare occurrence. Considering their games remain expensive years after release.

Let's not overlook the elephant in the room. CMx2 also remains expensive years after release, although I do like the fact BFC keeps the older titles updated.

Not much discount on some of those Slitherine deals to be fair and nothing that really jumps out at me as a must buy.
I agree ... I kinda have all the games I want from that bunch ... not that I have too much time for playing new additional games anyway

Anyone playing Command: Modern Naval/Air Operations? Bought it on the Christmas sale at Matrix. A lot to learn to aster this game. Still only at the the tutorial stage...

Yes! I love CMANO. The biggest part of the learning curve is learning to command, in my opinion. This involves setting up missions and really understanding the options in each mission. The AI is remarkably good in this game and missions let your virtual officers do their job while you worry about the big picture.
If you haven't joined the Matrix CMANO forum, check it out. It is a good resource with knowledgeable players willing to help. Also, make sure you check out Warfare Sims website. They are the game's creators and have a number of fantastic resources for the game including the Community Scenario Pack which adds hundreds of scenarios including several tutorials as well as database images and descriptions which add considerable flavor to the game.
