OK Lads, it's getting to be that time of year when we Northern California Members gather over good food and libations. We are in the planning stage right now, so if you have a vacation/holiday in California coming soon (next 2 months), let us know via this thread and we will consider having the event around your vacation, if you can make it to the SF Bay Area.

Stay tuned for more details.

We will be attempting to have this Gathering under the Web Cam at Sam's Chowder House, and I will bring my tablet along so that we may have an open line of communication during the Gathering.
 
OK fellas, we have settled on a date for this years Annual Gathering...We will be Gathering at Sam's Chowder Shack in Half Moon Bay Ca. on Sept 26th, starting at 1300 Pacific time (USA).
We will be setting up our luncheon within view of the real time video camera found at...http://www.samschowderhouse.com/about-sams/samcam.html
We will also have a tablet with us so that you guys can communicate/join in the gathering from where ever you are.:cheers:

Sorry Mate, always a problem getting you fellas from the other side of the world on board. The earliest we could possibly do this was at 1100hrs,perhaps we can nudge it back a bit.

Hey @Nort & @mTk, what say you guys to getting there when they open at 1100? That would also give Bootie time to join us before work, and Ithicial could drop in before he nods off for the night.
 
The SamCam for a visual (it will be a long range shot of our table ). We can text in the shout box to have a conversation.
 
Hmm. Maybe next time we zoom the lens out a bit. Good Anchor steam beer though!
The 5th annual meeting of the Northern California contingent of the FGM has come and gone. Always great fun for us to get together. We learned that Facman has a hot romance going with a gorgeous red head, but that's a story for another time.
