TOP DOG - Combat Mission Byte Battles Tournament - ROUND 1 kicking off

Thought it may be time to dip my toes back into the CM tourney water, and revive a fun little Byte Battle tournament idea.

Each Round, three players face off in a mini round robin playing tiny, knife-fight Byte Battles scenarios of 10 to 15 turns, custom-built for each Round.

Each player fights two battles, one as Allies and one as Axis, opponents randomly drawn.

The player who wins most battles or scores most points wins and is declared TOP DOG for that Round.

In the case of a points DRAW, we count inflicted Casualty Points:

1. Per enemy KIA, WIA, POW -- 1 point
2. Per enemy soft-skinned vehicle destroyed/abandoned: 5 points
3. Per enemy armoured vehicle destroyed/abandoned: 20 points

In the following ROUND, two new challengers step up and we rinse and repeat -- and the TOP DOG player sees how long he can defend his throne.

New and defeated players can join or rejoin the queue of challengers at any time -- first come, first serve.

After 10 or 12 Rounds we see who has managed to capture and/or defended the TOP DOG position the most times -- and is declared the winner and meanest moff at CM tiny battles.

Battles will be fought using all WW2 CM modules: CMBN, CMFI, CMRT and CMFB -- we switch freely between them from Round to Round at the Tourneymeister's whim.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Players that sign up must be dedicated and able to play with quick turn rates -- hoping to get through each round at the rate of about two weeks, three max (the battles are tiny, so it should be no problem)

-------------------------------------------------------------

SIGN UPS are now open, sign up in thread below -- we need THREE players to kick us off -- idea is to have some fun with quick, small battles. (I might join in as cannon fodder now and then as well -- rusty as all hell with CM)

Sounds fun, I'd love to join. Slight issue, I don't have CMFB. I'd be ok with conceding my match/queue position if any FB matches came up, but that'd be extra admin work for you, so that's your call

Ok, ready to kick off the mayhem with ROUND 1 -- @Nort , @Bleskaceq and @Titan are our first set of challengers.

@SlySniper is added to the list of challengers for Round 2.

Battles draw below -- ALLIED player sets up first -- scenario posted below.

need ur email so i can share dropbox

Alrighty, shared folders created for both of our matches @Titan @Nort .
@Rico What Skill/Difficulty should the scenario be set to? I usually play on Elite, dunno if there is any "tournament norm" :D?

I didn't add that in -- leave it to players to agree-- most player-friendly setting that I usually default to, is ELITE.
When i started it i came up as Iron..On a battle this size it makes no difference anyway
