I think more You would shot first, then searched and then shot again - only to be sure the terrorist (You) would be really dead. And then one would call the police and celebrate the moral courage, the good work of the official security forces and the barely hindered onslaught on the freedom and health of the people. The leadership would spend medals and empty words like water. A new and more sharp law as the last anti-terrorism-law would get adopted. Only that this law would restrict the freedom of the folk once more and the terrorists would laugh since You made their work and they can claim the "fame" for their deed.
