My sister in law recommended this and at first I rolled my eyes thinking 'not another BBC crime/murder/drugs drama', but this one hooked me right from the start. It follows the story of Charles Sobhraj who keeps up the pretence of a succesful gem trader but if you were back-packing around southeast asia in the mid 1970's and you ran into this guy, then the chances are you were fxxked.
