I am glad it was yesterday...tonight it is dropping to -27 C it is already -25 C ...no sleeping out under the stars tonight.
I suppose you get use to Temp's like that......Me sitting here thing's I won't try

Yes one can get use to it but what is hard is the wide swings in temperature we get here ...it can be 0 C one day and by night -25 C and even worst is the lake effect we have ....the damp air and I must say there is something to be said about a dry cold over a damp cold. But there are those that say -30 C is just plain cold no matter how you cut it.
I have winter boots that would withstand -70 C and I wear these when out on the lakes working or just in the cold...feels like your feet never leave home. With my size 16 feet I leave a huge foot print with these. The boots measure 16 inches long, 6 inches wide and 18 inches high. Would not be to hard to track me in most situations.

We call them Sasquatch on this side of the globe. That is not the first time I have been called that.
I use to work with guy who had size 17 boot, we would kid him about when came into the tea cabin and say to him.......You should have backed in Jim there is know room to turn round in here.....
