Mental note do not handle metal tongs without gloves...Like sticking your tongue to a metal post. LOL

Bear Grills says that in that case you should pee on your hands :)

I am glad it was yesterday...tonight it is dropping to -27 C it is already -25 C ...no sleeping out under the stars tonight.

Yes one can get use to it but what is hard is the wide swings in temperature we get here ...it can be 0 C one day and by night -25 C and even worst is the lake effect we have ....the damp air and I must say there is something to be said about a dry cold over a damp cold. But there are those that say -30 C is just plain cold no matter how you cut it.
I have winter boots that would withstand -70 C and I wear these when out on the lakes working or just in the cold...feels like your feet never leave home. With my size 16 feet I leave a huge foot print with these. The boots measure 16 inches long, 6 inches wide and 18 inches high. Would not be to hard to track me in most situations. ;)

Well just today we had a break here -. Thermal mark did not exceed 27 degrees celsius. -
Wikipedia devoted a segment to the weather we've had here lately:
Translated
The heat wave in Argentina of December 2013 was a phenomenon that occurred from December 11 until January 1, 2014. -
It was the longest heat wave in Argentina since records began in 1906
For the first time since the creation of the alarm system, heat was ruled an alert level red.
