That could be it. I have it and played it quite a bit.
Was fun for a while, but eventually the ultra colorful graphics kind of wore on me and I moved on.
Not the best of reasons, but that's all I got.

Yeah I got hundreds of hrs in Rome II. Probably thousandes from the first Rome and the Medieval one too. Building an empire and conquering others pretty much never gets old!

Maybe not. I'm not a real big RTS gamer.
Although when I do find one I like I may well have the problem you mention.
That happened with Ultimate General: Gettysburg & CW
The Summer Sale certainly has set me for a very long time indeed.

Nexus just gives me fits. Never have conquered their mod manager.
