Last night in Kansas we had severe storms move through the state. I was tracking the storm's progress and saw something on the Weather Underground's "Wundermap" live weather national radar I had never seen in all my years of living in Kansas, keeping in mind I have been here 43 years. I zoomed in on Kansas on the map and there were 10 tornadoes on the ground at the same time. Andover Kansas, just east of Wichita, was hit. You all might remember the famous tornado video where the news people outrun a tornado and hide under an interstate overpass with a family. That was the Andover tornado from 1991 that hit Andover and then headed NE along the Kansas turnpike. There were fatalities in 1991, but none last night. Lots of damage though. Here is a link to the Twitter feed featuring a number of videos of last night's 2022 Andover tornado. Estimated to be an EF2 or EF3. There were 14 reported touchdowns last night state-wide.
