Hi folks

As you know I work for BattleGuide Virtual Tours and we are always on the look out for guys to do voiceovers for us for the videos.

Most clips are short, less than a minute.

We have recently incentivised the process where for every 3 voice overs you provide and are used you either get access to a free virtual tour which usually costs £9.95 or a free military history book from our sponsors Pen&Sword books.

We are currently updating our list of voiceover guys and if this is something you would be interested in please pop your name down below.

Its an easy way to get some books or join us on our tours to hear your voice in the videos plus we are looking for ALL nationalities... German, French, Italian, English, American, Canadian, Russian.... etc.

Also as audio and video guy you will only be dealing with me so no randoms will be getting in touch.

Cheers

Shane

Good for Canadian voice and also broken Amsterdam Dutch with a Canadian accent.

By the way, Canadians have various accents. This is important when simulating voices of particular Canadian WWII regiments. For example, my accent would do for regiments raised in and west of Ontario. Nova Scotia regiments and French Canadian regiments have their own particular accents. Highland regiments had only a small proportion of persons who actually had Scottish accents, the accent having been lost in previous generations. My father-in-law who was born to a first generation Scottish family in French-Canadian Quebec, and served in the Canadian Black Watch during WWII, spoke like an Ontario Canadian and not like a Quebecer.

I mentioned to Shane that the character I was to read was from Boston and that the Boston accent is much different from mine.
He said it didn't matter us Yanks all sound the same anyway. Ha! :D

No kidding! Jeez. Boston, New York, Bronx, Alabama, California, Michigan, Texas - All you have to do is watch a few tv programs on Netflix or something to notice the difference. That's like saying all Brits sound the same. Right.
