Sempai there are serious floods in southern England... Dutch specialists have been called in to try and get rid of some of the water which at places is 3 meters deep.. .LOL

I have had a couple of Phone calls about flooding 6'oclock in the morning we live close to the River Ouzel when I went to look it was well up the bank but never over flowed where I am

It seems to me (from the other ide of the Northsea), that now the Thames is bursting its banks and traffic to and from London is in danger, the government in the UK is adressing the problem much more seriously. The people in Somerset have their feet wet for some 6 weeks and very little seem to have done, but now the army, extra money, etc are called upon to leviate the problems.

What news do you watch ?
Most of what You can get here is "political corrected" so it´s hard to get news. One has to decide from case to case what news one watch or hear or read. I´m always trying to get info from some of my foreign or germanized friends and aquaintances. Most of them still have relationships in their homelands. So You can put a picture together. And that´s more true then the german news. Even though - from time to time You can find a grain of truth even at the german news. For example I was really surprised as a german newspaper told (before a few years) that the german info/news/journalism is on one of the last places (27 or 28), concerning the censorship, out of 30 countries all over the world.
