ARMA3 FGM CO-OP CAMPAIGN : OPERATION IRON DUTY

Hi Guys,

Something not all OK. I simply can't see the FGM server on my server list. Any invite to it just lists it as Unresponsive. Something in my setup/mods is preventing me from seeing it (and probably a bunch of other) servers. Any clues?

Drop all the mods as a minimum. I know Bootie does use some mods but the don't change gameplay, just shifts around key bindings and how you view things. Yeah seems strange you couldn't connect to me the other week while everyone else could... We don't use dedicated servers, just one us hosts for everyone else. Perhaps try another Sunday night when Bootie or one of the others are hosting and go through a direct invite to the game to bypass the Server List ingame.

Would love to get in on this, but can't at those hours, maybe on the weekend. But had to RMA my GTX570 and will be getting a replacement sometime soon hopefully. It lasted 2yrs and 10 months, not very good since it cost me $330 in 2011. But PNY has a lifetime warrantee for their graphics cards. I'm hoping they send me a GTX770 to replace it, fingers crossed.
If we keep growing our numbers here in the states we could have a "Team America" squad. Maybe then challenge our Eastern Hemisphere brothers.

With Seal Team Six effectively destrpying the north east tip of Altis communications network it was time for the 75th Rangers Regt to move in and secure the two strongholds of the area... namely Molos Airfield and the nearby town of Molos.

As the chopper inserting the Rangers approached they were advised of incoming enemy units. Setting up a hasty defence at the coastal facility Seal Team Six had liberated they beat back the enemy attack before moving on and neutralising the enemy at the airfield.

A further successful attack was then carried out on the town of Molos. Another successful sortie. Here is an in combat pic of Bootie getting dragged to safety after being hit by enemy small arms fire.

The current situation on Altis now looks like this.

As we unload some heavy equipment in and around the north east we are relying on the FIA, the Freedom and Independence Army of Altis to assist us and disrupt any counter-attacks on the north east by the CTSA or the AAF. Standby for more info in the near future.

Local FIA fighters from the local town of Molos have formed up at Limnochori. They intend to clear the local AAF out of Sofia before taking the fight to the CTSA Iranian forces on their hill top fortress to the west. If this attack is successful the NATO armoured forces can push through the salt flats knowing their rear areas are secure.

Just a thought, you might want to make one of the choppers non-playable or just a transport otherwise you could just steamroll the next objective between two gunships and an APC. APCs can effectively engage all targets at ranges up to 1300m and a skilled gunship pilot can be devastating. It is a great mission and a lot of fun to play.

I'm not going to write a full AAR this time since I got kicked out of the game by some glitch and missed the latter half of the mission. But here are some screenshots.

Moving closer to a enemy held town. We couldn't assault the town immediately since the area was too open and enemy snipers started to take pot shots at us.

We divert to take out the snipers first and to get a different angle on the town.

After killing the snipers Bootie here pilfers their equipment. Also note the gravity defying rifle and ammo pouches.

We advance into the town while Bootie and Ithikial turn the enemy snipers weapons against their comrades.

After dealing with most of the hostiles we commandeer an APC and use it's thermal optics to find any survivors. Nothing but cooling bodies in this pic.
