If you think you are anonymous when driving around in your car on the motorway? Think again!

Because of the coils in the roads your speed can be checked anytime and it won't be long before the camera'a that watch the traffic can be used to identify which casis speeding!

Here is a nice website which tracks high speeds on the motorways in the Netherlands. Topspeed (not on all roads!) is 130 km/h. Which is about 81 mph. You loose your driving license when you get caught at speeds 30 kilomters above the limit.
The Netherlands is the most densely populated country in the western world.

Now you guys have a speeding problem! We have here red light Cameras, so if you go through a red light it takes a picture of your cars and you get a fine in the mail. We use to have what was called Photo Radar, here in Ontario and it was making good money about 1 millions dollars per month. A van would be at the side of a road and if you were speeding the guys with the Cameras inside would take a picture and then you would receive a fine in the mail.

I just got a speeding ticket via street mounted radar/camera here in Dayton. First time I've run into them. Hopefully I will learn from this mistake, as I didn't know they had them. So yes, George Orwell was prescient/correct for the most part, he just didn't get the date correct.

I believe we have surpassed anything Orwell may of envisioned. I see that our western countries have pasted anything we use to accuse the USSR of doing in regards to spying on it's citizens.
