Continuation ...
I withdrew the German SP and 88's. On the day of the battle, the SP guns which were originally near St. Contest were no longer in the immediate area and did not contribute to the battle (as they had done one month earlier on D+1). The 88's noted on the map of German defenses also had been redeployed or destroyed. There may have been some 88 fire from Authie. The A/Tk guns inherent in the German units present were predominantly Pak 40 - 75. It is remotely possible that any 88's referred to might have been Pak 43's?

The only German armour present during the attack was a single platoon of five PzIV. These were withdraw east to deal with the British Warwicks spotted near St. Contest five minutes into the scenario. This is indeed reflected in the scenario. The tanks have been deployed at the exits from Buron as per historical. Here they may or may not be damaged by the Allied barrage or spotted by the advancing Sherbrooks on the Canadian right flank. They may again be spotted, or not, during their move to St. Contest.

The AI has been programmed to engaged in a number of 'possible' moves which the Canadian player may or may not detect.

More to come ...
