Yeah, there's a definite graphical style which may not appeal to everyone. I'm not a fan of hex grid maps at this scale per se but I like the concept of the game.

I like that idea of character narrative tying in with a wargame campaign...

Actually tried to instill a bit of that narrative overlay into my Cross of Iron campaigns... those were fun, but took a LOT of time...
