Oh I agree we don't need to...but it's all tied together and if one does not think so then we will have to go round and round again. Some people are slow learners.Yawn.... we are not going round and round that debate again.
Let us see how this developed...
1] ELECTED govn't over thrown by western backed Neo- Nazis
2] Crimea VOTES to go to Russian side...being historically part of Russia
3] Eastern people who I would bet helped the ELECTED govn't come into power to begin with want their freedom from Kiev.
Now will Russia step in to help people who want to free themselves from a govn't that they did not elect?
Time will tell, would the USA if given the same scenario happened on their border set in to help? In a New York Minute they would!
So while quoting your western propaganda reports of the Ukraine and what is happening there ...remember there are two sides to a story...we have been lied to so many times by CNN, BBC,CBC etc. I will not be sucked into their lies again.
No matter what happens from this point on, it's a lose, lose proposition for all the innocents.
I don't think NATO has the logistical capabilities to really do anything. Russia really doesn't have the logistics to occupy all of Ukraine. It doesn't seem like an occupation is likely, rationally speaking. However, are Putin and his cronies rational men?
Collectively they aren't, correct. Collectively they have been agitating, well more specifically the European Union has been agitating with tacit American approval.Ukraine isn't a member of NATO. So they are not obliged to do anything.
