Only got the one PBEM outstanding at the moment but no CM for me until weekend after next. After five years of semi-faithful service (hey it's WIndows), my 1st Gen i7 Died of old age and overuse.

Forcedmarch - Apologies going to be delayed finishing our engagement.

Realy bad timing as well considering I'm buying a block of land at the same time...

Anyway, for the tech geeks getting this new PC gaming and video editing rig after splashing out $4k AUD. Should make video editing a bit easier for my Combat Mission Youtube Channel. :D

CPU - Intel i7 3770k 3rd Gen
H100i CPU Water Cooler

RAM - 16GB Corsair Dominator 2400 mhz

Motherboard - Z77-V PRO

Video Card - GTX690 (2x GPU - 4 Gb of VRAM)

Hard Drives - 256gb Solid State & 2 x 2TB SATA HDD

Case - Coolmaster Storm Trooper

Power Supply - 1050 watt Corsair system

Windows 7

I feel for you and glad you were able to purchase another gaming laptop.
Since my computer problems left me high and dry and unable to do my CM PBEM moves.

Dude, if you are going to those lengths not to finish our game I'm happy to call a ceasefire and start another!

I got a 690GTX, you will not be disappointed. Sometimes you can't get some games on release day as you have to wait for the drivers to be updated with the SLI profile, but that is the only problem I have encountered.

lol Don't worry I'm finishing our little 'Blood Bath.' ;)

Good to hear. I swapped out a reliable GTX280 with a GTX580 about six months after it's release and regretted it. Had real problems with that card as it didn't like most DX11 games and kept switching itself off. (Green Screen). Apparently something to do with Nvidia's adaptive power supply technology. Got high hopes for the GTX690 after reading some reviews.

The new Computer arrived and been madly loading and downloading everything in site to make 'mine.' It has already been named Skynet v2.0 in memory for the first Skynet that served me well for 5 years.

Forcedmarch - Be back up and running soon. Maybe end of the weekend.

Does it make a decent cup of coffee?

Nope but if I stress it for a while it could probably cook eggs as one of my mates says. Did a UniEngine Heaven Benchmark and got a nice score with the 690 topping out at about 80 degrees.

This will probably make video editing a little easier.
