Have a good trip, things may slow down for me too, over the weekend... as it's Grandad Christmas family bash ... whoopee open my presents with the kids!
(Up date Christmas bash on hold ... Grandchildren have Covet.)

First battle is complete... in the blazing desert sands of Lepis Magna, @Wellsonian 's Egyptians and my Phoenicians have fought themselves to destruction... my guys hung in there against superior forces with a rash of unlucky die rolls on Wellsonian's side. BUT, just as we ran out the clock, a massive last turn collapse on my side wiped out my (admittedly slender) lead and gave it to his side by 68% to 63%.

Fun battle -- most of my units were weaker than Wellsonian's, so it was a case of trying to get in amongst his massed archers and do our best vs his mercenary hoplite units -- tough going. The less said of my "chariots of fire", the better. :ROFLMAO:

Not much left standing after a day's brawl...

That might be the craziest last turn I’ve ever witnessed. I may have had a little problem with the dice in the mid-game, but Lady Fortune waaaaay over compensated in my favor at the end. The whole domino effect started when both our general led hoplite units fought each other to dust, and both auto broke. Rico came out poorly on the cohesion checks of his nearby units. Insane.

The WHITE Empire captures MESOPOTAMIA with a resounding 41% -12% Major Victory -- earning their first Bonus Gold.

I believe @Nathangun is away on Christmas holidays, because the game has been with him since December 22. We're in turn 7-8 (out of 24), I believe.

I’m checking up with @Nathangun - hope everything’s ok - also haven’t had game files from him since 22nd - but no indication he’d be away.
He was on FGM site last Sunday.
