My attitude exactly, I used to do one-man vigilante night patrols in the rough inner-city area of Highfields in Leicester England, collecting info about drug dealing, prostitution and crime in general to pass onto the police, and the entire underworld was scared of me.
Shouts of "Grass!" and "Stoolpigeon!" used to come out of the shadows and I was once shot in the leg by an unseen sniper with a home-made low-velocity gun but it never bothered me.
Such was my awesome reputation that ordinary citizens used to hurry away when they saw me coming in case they got caught in the crossfire, "Aiieee!" they cried, "it is he who walks with danger!"
