I have fought 2 battles now, both of which I have hated every minute of.

In both I have had 2 Infantry chits against an Elite Armour chit and an Infantry chit.

Thing is there is no chance of a victory and playing them has just wasted time when it is obvious that the battles are so unbalanced as to be detracting from any enjoyment.

I think if this is the case players should be given the option of surrendering before the battle begins.

Just an idea.

Another suggestion.

Battles will grow bigger and bigger as more players are eliminated or continents liberated or simply because not many units are actually destroyed in battle. This will lead to prolonged battles and I'm afraid will slow down the campaign considerably.

To avoid this we could have a 'take-away' rule: each side removes one piece of the same type of unit until it is not possible to remove further units or one side would drop below two units. The defender decides which units to remove if more than one possibility.
The defender may still decide to surrender after this process.

Example:
The current Blue vs. Grey: 1 Armour 2 Inf vs 3 Inf would be 1 A, 1 I vs 2 I

Or:
1 G, 1 A, 2 I vs 1 A, 3 I -> 1 G, 1 I vs 2 I
