I guess nostalgia drove me to watch this again... its the remale of course and to be honest its pretty poor. Some of the cinematography is good but the film just feels disjointed and it is as if you need to have seen the orginal to understand whats going on.

Certainly dont go out of your way to see this one.

I'm not usually a fan of this genre because they tend to be crap. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Maybe because all the reviews I read trashed it and it turned out being, well, ok. As Bootie mentions some of the CG stuff is pretty well done and the story moves along well enough to mostly keep you entertained. I think it's fair to say it is a decent DVD rental.

Although I like the first one better, this one is pretty decent. They could have done a few thigns different in my opinion, but overall it turned out pretty nice.

I thought it was crap... idiotic storyline, but very good CGI effects ...and I laughed when the main actor's aussie accent kept slipping out when he got excited!

We go kill that Medusa sheila... and then we put some shrimp on the barbie and crack some frosties.
