Okay here's my sensational 1/72nd DESERT FORT
(I know it sez 'African House' on the box but that don't sound warlike enough for me..:)
I bought the Brit infantry separate, and printed a desert picture off the net for the backdrop-

T-55

I would like to submit my 1/35 scale battle harden T-55. The year 1964. After Many talks with NATO the USSR had, had enough. In March of 1964 the attack was launched by 7 armored divisions and 16 infantry divisions. 35 more divisions were in line to attack. Another 30 divisions were being called up from East Bloc forces. Nato was taken by suprise. My T-55 is 12 km from Weisbaben, West Germany. Hard fighting was in the future but Frankfurt was almost in sight. Rinemine AFB was over run and the USSR controlled the sky most of the time. The Rhine River was breached by 3 bridgeheads. My T-55 is at a second in time where the supporting infantry has spotted NATO forces.

Here is my entry, a Kettenkrad with crew laying some communication lines. I hope to add it to a diorama at some point in the future. But here is it as a model for this competition.

MARDER II - Southern Russia, 1942

Here is my entry......a battered but unbeaten Marder II, unsung hero of the German infantry divisions apprehensively facing up to the T34. There's lots more weathering planned for this hapless steel beast and its crew plus a dio base, but time does not permit.

Nice one McIvan and everyone else, some nice looking models in the competition. Good luck to everyone with the poll. And I hope to get some more time to show the progress of the kettenkrad's dio over the next few months.
