Oh we have had snow on the ground for over a month now, but last night tipped the scales for a white Christmas. We received 18 to 20 inches of snow, worked up a good sweat shoveling the car out, -8 C at the moment. Beautiful and white hopefully some pictures for you guys later.

Revised snow fall...looks like a lot more....just got back in from shoveling what I shoveled earlier...another 4 to 6 inches, just heard that Highway 11 is a parking lot...transport trucks all over the place stuck and in ditches...does not seem to let up, I have just got my living room gutted and insulated and vapour barrier. this house is now the most insulated it has ever been, my heating bill is cut in half or better since I started.

The thing with shoveling is to pace one self. I go out and shovel every could of hours a few inches at a time...works out great except when one has to sleep and then shovel over a foot or more at one time. LOL

Louis you can have those temps...I love it here at -8 C and lower this is my element.

Yes and no...I will be traveling to pick up my son and the grandkids for the holidays. 3 hours south of here then take them back by New Years.

Well it has stopped snowing for now...12.27 pm EST the radio stations are saying 50 cm of snow by friday. good thing I am going to the doctors today at 3 pm and now going out for a hair cut. Must get ready for the fun.;) Of coarse if this keeps up there may not be as much fun nearing January and February 2014 LOL:eek:

View looking out my front door.

My poor BBQ ---have not got to it yet.

across the deck to the side yard deck, remember there was may an inch or two yesterday on everything.

My big spruce tree

The neighbour Mustang finally dug out

Across the street

My side yard and ravine in the back yard

looking back at the house, note the icicles on the roof edge...due to renovations in side pictures following.

Back of my truck...did not have any snow in it yesterday, remember a few years ago the bed of the truck was filled and over flowing...but they are saying another 50 cm to come.

My son and I took down the old ceiling and put up new insulation and vapour barrier.

There is my next project taking out the 10 foot window and putting in an 8 foot patio door.

It is hard working when I have such a burden to carry around on my shoulders

Wow, I´m a bit green-eyed regarding Your snow "problem"! :D Would be nice to have the half of it here at Germany.

Greetings :)

Pictures are pretty, especially since it's in your yard and not mine. Now, do I decorate the palm tree in the front yard or not?;)

These are my snow tools that I used today and all year...I am thinking of a snow blower in the future as I get older.

Oh yeah -20 c now at the air port. a little cool to be sleeping out side.
