CM:RT. Tiny battle- AD Interlock OP. Maneuvered my infantry, including this flamethrower team to the tracks and prepped the objective (Russian OP) before assaulting. Notice the flamethrower operators buddy is providing some covering fire. The screams of burning Pixeltruppen could be heard for a few seconds before the building got quiet.

Combat Mission has nice detailed moments like that which make it a good game, other times it makes you crazy when your troops can't spot a King Tiger meters away.

All kidding aside, it would be a fucking horrible way to die...

Or 2 halftracks full of troops that you thought were safely in reserve behind the lines get spotted even though behind a whole forest and get killed in one shot (in one halftrack out the other) by a 75mm ATG. All you can do is console yourself with the fact that the only pixeltruppen that survived is a LMG gunner...

I really wish they wouldn't do that though. They start firing before the flamethrower, getting their team spotted.

I'll remember to put mine on a firing arc. Some PAK ammo bearer teams come with an MG 32, which is sweet, but can lead to precipitated actions on their part.
