FOG II -- Bootie vs Rico

We've moved on to FOG II Medieval... English vs Scots... and @Bootie has opted for the "Full Scottish Hedgehog" stratagem... LOL

It's working so far... turns out the English don't like fighting uphill.



Now that I think of it... reminds me a bit of this:

My English mounted knights have forced their way on to the hill... routing some of the flower of Scottish nobility as they go (seeing retreating off to the right.)



Closer up reversed point of view... those two break-through units might be a bit isolated... but support is clawing their way forward.

Weirdest battle ever vs @Bootie ... my Teutonic Order force has gone into all-round defence ... there's Tartar cavalry swanning all over the place (basically Mongols by another name) -- not sure WHAT they are up to ... my light cavalry was destroyed (see far of shot for remnants on the field) -- and my heavy knights too slow to catch his horse archer units.

If I had wagons, I'd be circling them right now.

Oooh... pretty... Scandinavian derby match ... Norwegians vs Swedes.

After losing a bloody stalemate against @Bootie 's Tartars/Mongols -- headed north to cool off a bit.

@Bootie and I are playing a battle using the "Time Warp" add-on to FOG2: Medieval ... my Spartans against his 1066 Anglo-Saxons ... hoplites against shield wall ... things are gonna get weird.
