Oh. that must be one of the sPzJgAbt654 Jagdpanthers that got killed by a Pershing. You remeber: 90mm gun ripping through everything with ease? That was about the only gun that could penetrate the front plate of a Jagdapnther at that particular spot.

After I posted my reply I thought perhaps the Russian 122mm and 100mm and the British 17 pounder could have done it (to). And maybe the armour quality wasn't that good anymore at the end of the war, so perhaps that could have been a reason....

The Jagdpanther got a 80mm front plate angled at 55° - that should make about 100mm to punch through. Admittedly the steel quality wasn't what it was suppsoed to be anymore, so we're most likely talking about 90-95mm. Still, that's VERY thick and one of the best frontal armors around (especially in the game).
