This takes me right back, I watched all the old sci-fi movies as a kid. The robot in this one is a classic too. If I remember rightly, this is a Sci-fi version of Shakespeare's 'The Tempest'.

Hey @Meat Grinder do you know the site called framed?

You seem to be quite the movie buff so I thought it might interest you.
It´s all about guessing a movie. You get a single "framed" picture of a movie, and then you are to guess which movie it is. Get it wrong, and another frame will show from the same movie. You get a total of 5 guesses.
Get it right, and you are to wait 12 hours for the next movie.

1956 Forbidden Planet. This was a masterpiece in my opinion. It’s actually based on Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” Some folks thought it was extra cheesy but I think it’s still one of the best Sci-Fi movies made. The creature from the ID, and the Krell, fantastic writing. And IMO better than what the writers of today can come up with.

Speaking of "Forbidden Planet", this is fun and interesting --> Forbidden Planet- Lost Footage

The monster from the ID is one of the best monsters ever.
The Lost Footage was cool. I liked the planets. Amazing work for the time.
But I was hoping for more Anne Francis.
