The Horch 901, a German off-road car with independent suspension and four-wheel drive. Between 1937 and 1943 Horch delivered 14,911 vehicles equipped with two different eight-cylinder V-engines : initially the 80 hp (59 kW) version with 3.5 liter displacement from the civilian car type Horch 830/930 ; later cars had a 3.8 liter engine with 90 hp (66 kW).

Outside in the middle, a spare wheel was attached on both sides, which served as a support wheel or axle when driving over small hills and earth walls. From 1940 onwards this was not used; only one spare wheel was stowed. Was discontinued in 1943.
