Major @Odin -- your battered kampfgruppe has successfully broken through the enemy lines and is now ready to cross over into the German lines at the village of Berenov, using the last remaining road bridge across the small Basis river -- which will be blown as soon as your troops have crossed and assembled in the wooded area behind Berenov village.
The improvised defensive line in this sector is held by Flakgruppe Weiss with 88's and light flak, supported by a platoon of panzergrenadiers.
The skies are clear and heavy red air force activity has been reported, but Panzer Division HQ has decided it is worth risking the crossing, rather than wait for nightfall.
The Flakgruppe will try and provide covering fire, although their ammunition supplies are not very high.
Enemy recon forces have been spotted trying to locate your force and mobile forces will no doubt try and close the gap in their lines as quickly as possible.
