M'Lords -- here is the situation at start of TURN 2.

The Duchy of Burgundy has captured the province of BOURBON from the King of France.

The County of Toulouse has captured AQUITAINE from the English.

King of France faction has 2 initiative points.

Burgundy has 1 initiative point.

Toulouse has 1 initiative point.

England has no initiative points and is on the defensive this turn.

ROUND 2 orders are all in... here's how it played out.

TOULOUSE attacks GASCONY.
KING of FRANCE attacks BOURBON.
KING of FRANCE attacks FLANDERS while at same time BURGUNDY attacks ARTOIS.

So we have THREE battles:

1. GASCONY: TOULOUSE - @mTk - (Bretons 1155 - 1319) vs ENGLAND - @Nathangun - (English 1155-1271)

2. BOURBON: FRANCE - @Badger73 - (French 1155 - 1319) vs BURGUNDY - @Alpha Zwo - (German (Northwest) 1200 - 1319

3. ARTOIS/FLANDERS: FRANCE - @Jolly Olly - (French 1155 - 1319) vs BURGUNDY - @Mad Mike - (German (Northwest) 1200 - 1319
This third battle is a Meeting Engagement Battle -- the WINNER can either take and pocket the earned Initiative Point, or carry on the fight into the original target province in the next Round free of any initiative points cost.
Setup: I have flipped a coin and FRANCE player sets up this battle.


Faction Commanders: please assign battle commanders.


ATTACKER sets up the challenge.

Attacks are resolved in Field of Glory II Medieval as standard Medium skirmish battles of 24 turns.
Type of map terrain can be selected by the attacker, or even go pot luck -- but I guess for sanity sake, North European Agricultural will provide the most sensible battle maps.

So....meeting engagement. I went with Pot Luck on the map. God only knows what disaster I have brought on either or both of us!

FYI....I may be a little slow out of the gate on this one as its been a bit of a crappy week work-wise but we will see.

I've been working for 48 years and I can count the good weeks on one hand.
