It's like I'm back in college in a dorm room (except waay nicer)! I'm hold up with 12 other guys (mostly 30-somethings) for the purpose of conducting our annual fantasy baseball auction draft. Massive amounts of pizza, Alcohol, BBQ and Texas Hold 'em. Actually, it is great fun even if I feel a bit more like a chaperone than a participating member. Actual draft is tomorrow and I am hoping for most to have massive hangovers. Looking good so far.

It is even more awesome than it looks! I've got the studio and it is very nice, and more important...quiet. I've brought enough aspirin and am waiting for a lot of the current poker players to get just a little bit more hammered before I buy in. Gotta go, pizza is here.

MTK -----WOODFORD did I hear? now your talking...I take it your poker skills might not be up to snuff, if your waiting for some to get in half the bag? Keep your eye out for those who might be fishing you in? There might be more then one pole in the water.

Had a good poker night, much more luck than skill, and won about $45. Mostly on the last hand and a great "river" draw.
Badly hung over from Sam Adams/Woodford Reserve boiler makers. (whew)

Actually, it appears that I'm a better drinker than baseball team drafter. Not all that happy with it, but we'll see I guess.

As far as Woodford (I like the Double Oaked best).... But when I lived in Lexington KY, I did all the Distillery Tours and I found Buffalo Trace to be the best stuff for me....

Well, made it back home safe and relatively sound. Partying w/30-somethings for two days is a real test. Boy, does their taste in music suck.

I did a recount and it turns out I made a tidy $100 poker profit. Verdict is still out as to how good a team I drafted.
