Need Help On Steam Games

Hello everyone. Steam is my favorite game distribution service. But recently I have been having a problem with Steam. Whenever I try to install a game, the steam missing file privileges error appears. I do not understand why this error is showing and how to fix it. Can anyone provide any suggestions to solve this issue? It will be greatly appreciated.

Can't help. Never seen/encountered that error before.
Checked out the Forum for any similar issues?
I use Steam exclusively for games now, but trying to get any help from them is less than ideal.

Thanks for replying, and sorry for the previous comments. The problem is solved only after reinstalling a fresh application. In fact, somehow the games saved on my computer have become corrupt.

What kind of hard drive are you using? Maybe a sector went bad?
