Papercraft madness

I thought few horizontal patches will be enough - obviously i was wrong :)
I'll try second method one of these days :)

I've been into paper modeling for quite a while. I do still love to build in Styrene but I found paper to be a pleasant respite once in a while. I particularly like the collection of space themed models offered free from The Lower Hudson Valley Paper Model Gift Shop. They were what really turned me on to the paper medium.

Yeah, the Saturn V is just over 1m tall when finished; about 4 feet or 1.2 meters. The place I downloaded the 1:96 Saturn V (first link below) also has an insanely detailed 1:48 version in the works.

Alright, time to link bomb! Here are some of my paper model links. Quite a few good ones here. Should keep you busy for awhile :D.

I'll also let you in on a little tip. If you ever come across a free model you think you might like to build, download it right then and there. Chances are the link will be dead when you come back a few months later, and the model will have disappeared. I can't tell you how many times I've had to use archive.org's Wayback Machine to retrieve old models. Some of the links below are only available that way now. The models can still be downloaded, though.

Just completed my latest build after not having built a paper model in awhile. It's a DHC-1 Chipmunk, a plane I have a soft spot for. Such a cool little aircraft. The model was straightforward to build, but there were some parts fitting issues with how it's designed. Nothing major, though. Definitely recommend it. Here are some pics:

Gentlemen I am impressed ... of coarse I have to say before Combat Wombat chimes in..."he's impressed with a flashlight also . LOL
Great work...gets me thinking of the potentials.

Thanks guys!

That paper microscope is pretty impressive.

@zaraza - have you built anything lately?

@Rico - The wingspan is 8.5 inches (~21.5 cm), and the fuselage is 6.25 inches long (~16 cm).
